Overview
driveIn is a freight hiring platform based in Nashville, Tennessee, built for Class-A CDL truck drivers and the carriers hiring them across all 48 US states and Canada. Drivers build a profile with verified CDL and endorsements, search jobs by route and equipment type, and message carriers once there is interest. Carriers post jobs with transparent pay and schedules, review verified applicants, and manage hiring in one place — free for drivers, paid for carriers.
The Challenge
Trucking hiring is noisy on both sides: drivers wade through listings with vague pay and carriers that are not really hiring, while carriers spend time on applicants whose licenses and endorsements they still have to verify themselves.
The Solution
I built a two-sided platform with verification at its core — identity and CDL checks on every account — so drivers search real openings by route and equipment with pay and schedule up front, and carriers review applicants whose credentials are already checked, then move to messaging and hiring in the same flow.
