Ali & Rama's Gallery homepage with curated collections

Overview

Ali & Rama's Gallery is a curated e-commerce shop in Jabal Amman selling local art, handmade gifts, and small pieces that carry a sense of place — organized into collections like Jordanian gifts, handmade crafts, art and posters, stationery, accessories, home decor, and a Palestine collection. A "build your gift" flow lets customers put together a custom gift box, alongside wishlist, search, and quick-view browsing.

The Challenge

A gallery like this lives or dies on how it's browsed — dozens of small, distinct handmade pieces across very different categories, from Palestinian embroidery to stationery, needed to feel curated rather than dumped into one generic catalog.

The Solution

I built category-led browsing (Jordanian gifts, handmade, art & posters, stationery, accessories, home decor, a Palestine collection, gift boxes) with wishlist, search, and quick-view, plus a guided "build your gift" flow for assembling a custom gift box — bilingual, RTL-first.

Key Features

  • Category-led browsing across eight distinct collections
  • "Build your gift" flow for assembling a custom gift box
  • Wishlist, search, and quick-view on every product
  • New-arrivals section with sale and stock-status badges
  • Bilingual Arabic/English shopping experience

Technologies

  • Angular
  • TypeScript
  • SCSS

Technical Highlights

  • Built with Angular 22, designed RTL-first with an English toggle rather than the reverse
  • Product and category data structured to support wishlist, quick-view, and the gift-builder flow without page reloads

Result

A live, curated storefront where a small local gallery's handmade pieces get the same polished browsing experience as a much larger store.
